The specialized program of distance learning is a joint project by the Developpement Internacional Desjardins (DID, Canada), the National Union of Non Commercial Organizations for Mutual Financial Aid (NU, Russia) and the Rostov State University of Economy (RSUE RINH, Russia).
The project comprises the expertise of the University RINH in education and distance training, expertise of the NU in microfinance and organizing of work of MFIs in the sphere of financing SMEs, and expertise of the DID in distance training and development of financial services for micro finance organizations.
Qualification improvement program “Management of Loans in MFI Delivered to SMEs”
The program was developed under supervision of Tele-Univerity (University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada) by one of the professors of the University, Moujb Bahri in collaboration with the DID experts. The program aims at meeting the demand in specialized education for executive managers of MFIs, credit consumer cooperatives, loan departments of MFIs, and for loan managers. A big part of the program, however, will be interesting for specialists of organizations supervising the work of MFIs as well as for bank employees. The program teaches the basics of the theory and practice of provision of commercial loans and principals of management of such loans.
All the learning modules of the new course were adopted by the specialists of the NU Training center in accordance with the legislation, theory and practice of the work of MFIs in the Russian Federation. Their titles, theoretic content and practical tasks comply with the curriculum of the RSUE RINH.
Nowadays the demand for such special educational programs in the sphere of financing of small enterprise is not satisfied. It is necessary to note as well, that distance training becomes more and more popular among the auditory that wants to study in their working places.
